Industrial realisation of regeneration of polluted adsorbent in using thermal catalytic process

    By the process of removing of polluted materials in case of regeneration of saturated adsorber, this technology allows the user low investment and operational costs as well as instalment on the spot. The crucial units of the process are the regeneration chamber and the after-burning facility connected in series with the equipment. In this later unit takes place the thermal disposing of polluting materials featured by desorbtion phase. The pollutants are mostly the components of mixture of combustible materials, so in the after-burning zone their bound chemical energy will be released, reducing in this way the rate of supply request of outer energy (natural gas) supply. The thermal regeneration will be followed by a catalytic cleaning process. The parameters of the catalysator has been chosen in accordance with the aligned thechnology removing not only the eventually unburned components of the decomposition but also the NOx content generated during the combustion process.

    The mentioned technology developed in the framework of the project ceases the danger by disposing of saturated adsorbent effecting on the environment. The disposing of the saturated adsorbent through thermal disposing needs significant financial investment as well as the changing of the charge also effects the economical running of the facility. In case of application of the developed technology a repayment of two years period can be expected.
